Cookie Policy

Effective November 2026 · Consent notice version 1.0

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site is built the other way around from most: nothing non-essential is loaded until you say yes. Until you make a choice, no analytics or advertising code runs and no third-party embed requests are made. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.

What each category does

Strictly Necessary

Always on

Required for the site to work: keeping your session secure, protecting forms, and remembering this cookie choice. These are always on.

  • Liquid Gold NYC site platform (Base44 hosting) — session, security and load-balancing cookies
  • Consent record — stores your choice in this browser for 12 months

Analytics

Optional

Helps us understand which pages are used so we can improve the site. Never receives form contents, health details, or page titles.

  • Google Analytics 4 — not currently installed
  • Google Tag Manager — not currently installed
  • First-party site events (e.g. "booking started") — loads only with analytics consent

Marketing / Advertising

Optional

Used to measure and personalise advertising. No advertising tags are installed on this site today; this switch controls them if they are ever added.

  • Google Ads — not currently installed
  • Meta Pixel — not currently installed
  • TikTok Pixel — not currently installed
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — not currently installed

Functional

Optional

Enables optional embedded features, such as the interactive Google Map of the clinic.

  • Google Maps embed (maps.google.com) — set only after you enable functional cookies or click "Load the map"

Every cookie and tracker on this site

Taken from a full audit of the site's code. No other analytics, advertising, session-recording or chat scripts are installed.

Third-party policies: Google Maps is governed by Google's privacy and cookie terms. We do not control the cookies a third party sets once you enable its feature.

Pages where analytics and marketing stay off

On the following pages — which carry appointment requests, contact forms, patient intake, or symptom/condition content — analytics and marketing remain off by default and do not load even after a global “Accept All”, unless the page is explicitly whitelisted.

  • / (home — symptom selector)
  • /book
  • /intake
  • /contact
  • /treatments
  • /faq
  • /safety
  • /reviews
  • /blog

Form answers, medical details, page titles and URL parameters are never passed to any third party.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Use “Cookie Settings” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer at any time. When you switch a category off, the tags for it stop and the cookies those vendors set are deleted from your browser where technically possible. Your new choice applies immediately and on every later page load.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some optional features such as the map will need to be loaded again.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics and marketing automatically — no action needed on your part. Choosing “Accept All” later overrides it for this browser.
